1. Arienzo Beach Club
Put on your orange swimsuit and order yourself an aperol spritz because this is THE iconic beach club you’ve seen all over the internet. If you book in advance online they will pick you up from the main beach of Positano and bring you here via boat otherwise its quite the walk and stair climb down to this secluded luxury beach club.

2. Boat Tour
Cannot recommend seeing the Amalfi Coast from the water enough! We booked a private sunset boat tour through Lucibello Positano. It was about an hour long and took us along the coast as the sun set stopping near iconic sights like the Fiordo di Furore. The prosecco was also a huge plus!

3. Salvatore’s Fruit Stand
We booked a vintage car tour with Positano Vintage and stopped at some amazing spots along the way. This iconic fruit stand is owned by Salvatore and is located along Via Arienzo. It is absolutely picture perfect and Salvatore takes pride in his stand. Consider buying something or tipping him if you come for photos.

4. Distant View of Positano
Drive along Via Arienzo away from the fruit stand. You’ll watch the stunning Positano city appear closer and closer in the distance. It’s hard not to stop every 10ft for another photo spot.

5. Hotel Poseidon Rooftop
Definitely challenging to secure a reservation for this very sought after rooftop terrace restaurant but s worth it for amazing food, drinks, and views. There was also live music while we enjoyed our dinner which just added to the experience. Reservations can be made 2 weeks in advance but double check on the website that nothing has changed since we went.

6. Positano Main Beach Shoreline
Make sure to walk all the way down to the water in the morning before all the beachgoers arrive. There’s something about a quiet beach that is just so beautiful. Not to mention the gorgeous backdrop.

7. Ristorante Bruno
On our first night we had an amazing dinner at Bruno. Make sure you make a reservation so you can be seated right along the edge of the street to look out at the beautiful views of the beach and town. Make sure you order the lemon sorbet limoncello spritz. Amazing.

8. Casa Cosenza
Book Casa Cosenza on AirBnb it was by far one of the most affordable accommodations we cold find in such an expensive area especially if you want to actually stay in Positano. The rooms were adorable and the balcony had unmatched views of the town, church, and beach.

9. Vicolo Vito Savino
Climb up the small alley way of a staircase to view the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta Church. The tiles on the dome are absolutely gorgeous. At the top there is an archway to frame your shot.

10. The Delicatessen
The delicatessen is an adorable grocery store in the main hub of town so try to get there early to get a shot without a million people walking by.

11. Intersection of Via Leucosia & Via Christoforo Colombo
Right as you come up the staircase of Via Leucosia you’ll be greeted by this lovely terrace of ceramic lemons. I absolutely love all the lemons of the Amalfi Coast. This is a busy intersection so you may have to wait for a lull in order to snap a photo.

12. Via S. Sebastiano Staircase
Ceramic flower pots align the steps of Via S. Sebastiano where it meets up with Via Christoforo Colombo. You can stand across the street and photograph the beautiful steps. Hopefully the nearby beautiful yellow flowers are in bloom when you are there.

13. Classic Positano Overlook
This is the most classic shot of Positano in my opinion. The ledge is located across the street (Via Cristoforo Colombo) from Profumi di Positano perfume shop. Make sure to come back at night as well to look out at all the lights.

14. Blue Hour
Blue hour (the hour after the sun sets) is magical on the main beach of Positano. The lights begin to turn on and sparkle as they reflect onto the water. Its pretty spectacular when there’s no light left in the sky (middle bottom photo) as well but blue hour will photograph better.

15. Intersection of Via Cristoforo Colombo and Amalfi Drive
We booked a vintage car tour with Positano Vintage and stopped at some amazing spots along the way. This spot is near the outskirts of the main town near the bus stop. You have to get far enough away from the town to see it in its entirety.

16. Marina 1 White Wood Path to the Beach
Little white wooden paths stem off of the main promenade and lead you to the beach. It’s a good option for framing your photo to add an interesting touch.

17. Blue Loungers & Umbrellas
The main spaggia or beach in Positano has rows and rows of bright blue chairs and umbrellas. With the colorful cliffside houses as its backdrop it’s really a stunning sight. This beach gets busy fast as its the main beach in the center of town so get there at sunrise if you want to see it empty.

18. Positano Ceramic Bench
The colorful ceramic-tiled bench featuring a painted coastal scene is found along Via Cristoforo Colombo or near Piazza dei Mulini.

19. Le Sirenuse Hotel
It’s definitely not in my budget to stay at this gorgeous hotel but we tried to snag a few photos inside anyways. Tried to walk straight in to the iconic balcony but could tell the front desk was onto us and the doors were locked. If you do not succeed like us you could always have dinner at the restaurant or just take photos out front like we did. Not many other buildings in Positano are this stunning red.

20. Ceramica Assunta
I believe there is another location but this ceramic shop is right along Via Cristoforo Colombo. Make sure you step inside to view all the hand painted ceramics the Amalfi Coast is famous for.

21. Small Alleyway Church View
If you are walking north along the street Viale Pasitea take a right just before Maison Zara Positano Hotel. Walk down a very narrow staircase for a unique view of the town and church. It’s easy to miss.

22. Beach Day
No trip to Positano is complete without a day at the beach. We opted for the main beach in the center of town Spagglia Grande. You can rent beach loungers at the beach club. We grabbed takeaway pizza at a nearby pizza restaurant and brought it to our loungers. Over near the ferries you will find much more affordable food and drink than the bars on the beach. Make sure a limoncello spritz, lemon sorbet in a lemon, and gelato are all on your list.

23. Music on the Rocks Stairs/Railing
The way up to the the nightclub is a lot less crowded in the morning and offers a great spot to perch in front of a spectacular background.

24. BONUS: Priano along Via Roma
We went a little further than Positano on our vintage car tour and stopped in the town of Priano at sunrise. It was absolutely breathtaking.
