1. #Happiness
The #Happiness Store in Mykonos, Greece is a must-visit photo spot for anyone traveling to this stunning island. Nestled right in the center of town near Little Venice, this spot is filled with people mid day so be sure to visit in the morning before the cruise ships port for the day.

2. Church of Pangia
The Church of Pangia is near the waters edge once you are past Little Venice. This church has a very unique look compared to most of the churches in Mykonos. This white washed church looks stunning against the bright blue sky. Different times of the day will offer a different perspective and different shadows due to its asymmetrical nature. We arrived in the morning.

3. Agios Nikolaos-Kapelle Church
While Santorini was known for its blue domed churches we came across more red domed churches in Mykonos. It also amazes me how well kept almost everything is. The red paint was striking even on an island of sunshine. Make sure to capture the bougainvillea tree climbing the exterior of the church.

4. Agia Kyriaki Square
Agia Kyriaki Square looks straight out of a movie with the main attraction being the giant pink bougainvillea tree cascading over a bright red door. I’ve heard these trees bloom most of the spring-fall season but for reference we were here early September. If you’re looking to find this spot it is near the Pandora store.

5. Kato Milli
The five windmills standing in a row near the waters edge are referred to as Kato Milli. Fair warning Mykonos is nicknamed the island of the winds for a reason and these windmills once served a purpose so it is definitely windy near this spot. Use the wind to your advantage and take some awesome photos. This spot fills up near sunset but definitely still worth it because the sunset over the water was stunning.
Pro tip: I attached small fishing waiters to my skirt so it did not fly up because the wind was no joke.

6. Little Venice
Little Venice is a picturesque and romantic neighborhood that sits right at the edge of the sea very similar to Venice, Italy hence where it got its name. Rows of colorful houses are lined up along the waterfront and the area is home to many cozy restaurants and bars that serve a variety of traditional Greek dishes and fun cocktails that you can enjoy while admiring the Aegean Sea. Just make sure to make a reservation or get these very early as the tables that face the water fill up very quickly.

7. Vernanda Bar
Vernanda Bar is an example of one of the bars along Little Venice that you can stop in for a drink with a view but make sure to also check out the exterior facing the town away from the water as well. So beautiful.

8. I Heart Mykonos Steps
I love a good cheesy spot. Have someone snap a quick photo of you and your love on the I heart Mykonos steps. Bonus if you can capure the Greek flag that floats in the back ground and the beautiful bougainvillea tree.

9. Mykonos Town Overlook
If you’re ok with a little bit of an uphill hike (which seemed like nothing after being in Santorini for a few days) then this overlook offers a unique perspective over the entire town. You’re able to see the bay, Mykonos town, and Kato Milli from here. Its located near 180° Sunset Bar.

10. Town Center Giant Bougainvillea Trees
I’m not sure if these trees are always this full of flowers but they definitely were in full bloom early September and this main part of town smelt absolutely lovely. They cascade over the walkways like a canopy. There are many but the specific one we photographed next to the yellow railing is right in front of Wake Bar.

11. Blue Staircase
Blue is everywhere in Mykonos Town so there definitely isn’t just one blue staircase to take a photo on in your favorite blue dress. There are many different shades of blue as well so spend some time exploring the town to find your favorite. Hopefully you have cell service because it is easy to get lost. We found ourselves at a few dead ends.

12. Blue Street
Continuing with the iconic blue theme there are some streets you turn onto where literally everyone decided blue would be their color. This photo was taken by the #Happiness store facing the opposite direction down the street.

13. Blue Door
Yet another cute little blue spot we found while out and about in the morning wandering the streets of Mykonos town.

14. Greek Flag Church
The official name of this church from Google Maps is Panachra Church and while there are many red domed churches in Mykonos I really like the two flags hanging out front. The yellow flag is the symbol of the Greek Orthodox church and the blue flag is the national flag of Greece.

15. String Pennant Flags
Turn another corner in Greece and find another Greek Orthodox church. This church was quite large and located near Little Venice called Metropolitan Church on Google Maps and right by Mamalouka Restaurant. I liked the string pennant flags criss crossing above my head. The red flag with the yellow cross also represents the Greek Orthodox church.

16. Kastros
Kastros Restaurant opens up to the cutest little alley leading to the Aegean Sea and is located in Little Venice. It is small and easy to miss while you are strolling the streets of the town but worth it to walk all the way to the end and look out at the sparkling water. Grab a drink while you are there.

17. SantAnna

18. Little Venice for Sunset
I’d say Little Venice for sunset gets its own spot since the vibe and look is completely different than the morning or even the afternoon. This spot of town faces directly out to the sunset so during golden hour the houses along the water start to glow. I would definitely recommend getting drinks for sunset at one of the restaurants right on the water. We opted for Nice N Easy. Just make sure to make a reservation or get there very early as the tables that face the water fill up very quickly.
