You’ve most likely heard of Oia, Santorini but Imerovigli is another beautiful white washed costal town spanning the cliffside of the Santorini Island in Greece. Imerovigli is a short bus ride between Oia and Fira which are two more well known cities. If you find yourself exploring Imerovigili and Fira during your trip to Santorini here are some of the best instagram photo spots to check out in my opinion.
1. Anastasia Church Dome
Located in Imerovigli, the Anastasia Church or “Church of the Resurrection of the Lord” if you are looking on google maps is a must see. There is a ledge near the dome with the most gorgeous cascading pink bougainvillea tree I have ever seen. The Caldera is positioned in the background and it is absolutely breathtaking.

2. Anastasia Church From Above
Another breathtaking view of the Anastasia Church is from a rooftop above it. Hopefully you have cell service because you’re going to want to head from the main street through a maze of hotels and small walkways towards the hotel Imer Villas Imerovigli which is right by the rooftop we took the photos from. Many local photographers take photos here so you may have to wait your turn.

3. Saint John The Theologian Church
Walking from Imeovigli to Fira is doable or hop on another bus. Once in Fira located in the center of town is a massive church and very unique looking for Sanotorini. The dome is a weathered gray, the windows have hues of reds and its lined with bricks. We shot the church from above at different angles along the staircase that leads around it. We shot early morning to avoid crowds as Fira is a very busy city. This is also another spectacular view of the Caldera.

3. Three Bells of Fira Front
You will see signs advertising the Three Bells of Fira all over Fira. Basically it is Fira’s equivalent attraction to the Three Blue Domes in Oia. The front of the church is a unique bright yellow color. Most people only make it to the back but I would say the front is worth checking out too.

4. Three Bells of Fira Back
The back side of the Three Bells of Fira Church is very beautiful with yet another bright blue domes but the real star of the show is the view out on the Aegean Sea and Caldera you can photograph from this spot.

5. Catholic Church of Saint Stylianos
This bright yellow and blue church with whimsical red dots is located as far to the edge of the cliffside as you could get. Make sure you do not miss!

6. Art of the Loom Gallery
On the same cliffside path you would find the above Church of Saint Stylianos on you can turn down the side street right next to Da Costa Restaurant leading to Art of the Loom Gallery. In the background you will have a lovely view of a unique coral colored church. I could not find the name of the church on google maps so if you’d like to find it I would suggest googling the restaurant.

7. Church of Saint Mark the Evangelist
Stumbled upon this cute little light blue church while wandering Fira and didn’t even know it was well known. You cannot beat the view beyond it of the Caldera.

8. Candlemas Holy Orthodox Metropolitan Church
This gigantic whitewashed cathedral is a must see. The arches are very unique aligned all around the perimeter. We arrived to this spot early in the morning and the light was just beautiful.

9. Kaliya Reimagined Food & Drinks
Very near by the above cathedral is Kaliya Reimagined Food & Drinks. The archway into this restaurant is a work of art.
